Questions, answered
The things restaurant owners ask us most. Can't find what you need? Drop us a message.
No. Tawle runs entirely in the phone's web browser. A guest scans the table QR code with their camera, and the menu opens instantly — no app store, no download, no account required for guest checkout.
Four, all from one platform: QR dine-in, takeaway/pickup, delivery, and a full counter POS. Orders from every channel flow into the same Kitchen Display and the same reports.
Yes — three ways. Pay the full bill in one go, split equally among any number of people, or split by item so everyone pays for exactly what they ordered. Guests can even pay their own share by QR with Pay@Table, and the session only closes once everything is settled.
Cash, card and mobile banking at the POS, plus 22 online gateways including Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, MyFatoorah, Paystack, Flutterwave and more. Every payment is recorded as a transaction for clean reconciliation.
Not really. Any tablet, laptop or phone with a browser runs the POS and Kitchen Display. For receipts you can use browser printing on any printer, or connect a USB 80mm thermal printer for instant auto-print with paper cut.
Yes. Tawle is multi-branch from day one. Manage menus, pricing, staff and orders per location, and switch between branches inside one admin panel. Seven staff roles with granular permissions keep everyone to their lane.
Completely. Your logo, your colours and your own domain across the whole guest and staff experience. Customers see your brand, not ours.
Most restaurants are live within a day. Bulk-import your menu from CSV/Excel (images are fetched automatically), brand it, and print your table QR codes from a single PDF. We help you through it.
We're currently rolling Tawle out to a first wave of partner restaurants and pricing is tailored to your size and number of branches. Send us your details and we'll share a quote and a tailored demo.
Yes. Both the guest storefront and the admin run in multiple languages, including right-to-left scripts like Arabic. You can add new languages and edit every translation yourself, plus set multi-currency formatting per branch.
Two ways to stay safe. With inventory enabled, items are marked out of stock automatically as their ingredients run dry. Staff can also tap any item off ("86" it) instantly. Either way, guests only ever see what you can actually make — no disappointing surprises at the table.
Yes — Tawle has role-based access control with seven roles (Admin, Branch Manager, POS Operator, Waiter, Chef, Staff, Customer) and feature-level CRUD permissions. In a multi-branch group, staff are scoped to their own branch, and key actions like payments are attributed to a user for a clean audit trail.
These are on the near-term roadmap. Reservations, a visual floor plan with live table status, and a "call waiter" button from the QR menu are coming soon — all built into the same integrated system, not bolted-on extras. Tell us what you need and we'll keep you posted.
Absolutely. Try the live demo to explore a sample restaurant, or request a tailored demo and we'll spin one up with your own branding so you can test the full flow.
